  2. Arrow keys and rotation are mentioned here:http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/KeyboardMouseCommands.html. 404 - Not Found EER - Thank you "-- Is there still a way to use arrow keys + another key to move items 10 pixels at a time? I couldn't find out how with the line/curve tool." FuzzyHuggles - Hold Ctrl + Alt while (Fred) the square handle is showing and move with arrow keys. Was my PDN acting up?
  3. What's old is new again

  4. My photo of snail, Lynxster's leaf shape, The rest - PDN
  5. Great, thanks Max, I believe I'm on the right track. Your example looks high contrast to me.
  6. I hope so, I made a couple with a contrasty image, but now I'm confused after rereading the rules. Thanks Pixey.
  7. An outline of a silhouette? Can that mean a high contrast image?
  8. Very good, guess I needed a small tutorial. I didn't see that I could do it myself. Thank you. I'm going to put my try at this right here.
  9. Hi @Toe_Head=Is it possible to make the corner and edge pieces look like real corner and edge pieces. Also, pieces are beveled at the cut edge from the die cutter. I like the look of the pieces. @Racerx=Found where the pieces go.
  10. Congrats Max for the win. Congrats to Oceana and Pixey for the 2nd place win. :star: Voting was really tight this time, how exciting was that? Thanks Pixey for stepping in to host. Chimay...hope you're OK.
  11. There was a bit of a stink a while back when somebody posted a YouTube video without getting the author's permission. I think it got all sorted out eventually. Who is going to be answering questions about what is being shown in these videos? Very few if any will want to answer questions about somebody else's videos. And I for one love scrounging around in the old tutorials and reading old howto threads. A lurker who joined.
  12. This was interesting and definitely use a large image to start with. Mine was 3888 x 2592. Super easy and I foresee more pixelated images in my future. Thanks Xmario.
  13. This is Sig Battles not SOTW. Racerx has conceded to FotoFactory. Limon is waiting for someone to battle her sig.
  14. Shame on me, are those Shapemaker PDFs help files? Think I need to go back to that program and get reacquainted. Thank you Red ochre.
  15. Hi, found a picture that I antiqued with Helio's tutorial a few years ago, The process of Antiquing: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/12183-the-process-of-antiquing/page-9#entry431926 I can call the picture finished now, Thanks for the shapes.
  16. Made Oct. 2012. About time i posted this. Like the effect very much.
  17. Hi, I see, I don't have any Photoshop programs added to my Paint.Net. I just didn't know what that was. The effects tab in PDN should open instantly and I have a lot of plugins installed. Any PDFs are usually tutorials. I keep a folder with them and any screenshots of tutorials in my computer Documents folder. Glad you found the plugin directory, yes that should help you a lot. Maybe keep that on your desktop. I shouldn't say that you shouldn't download everything at once. Get to know a few at a time, play with them, get to know how they work. Find a few tutorials, they helped me tremendously to get comfortable with Paint.Net. Take out sounds good.
  18. Oh dear. I'm not at all techie, but the only things you should have in your effects folder are plugin .dlls and some have helper files like .dlc and.pbd. No PDF, no text, no .exe, no .xml, no yellow folders. I think just clear everything out and start over. And what EER said. Your Paint program file is different than mine also. I don't know what Config is. Kill color, Photo**** and TRsSmudge I don't think belong in there. Luck...
  19. Hi, Right click your picture, find Open With. At the bottom of the fly out there should be "Choose default program", click that and it will take you to the Open with. Again at bottom click on Browse. Finally, that will take you to Program Files. Open the Paint.NET folder and click on PaintDotNet. That will open your image and it will add Paint.Net to the list of Open With programs. Hope this works for you. Need pictures? I can add screenshots Sorry Oceana didn't know you were posting too.
  20. Love it, very good. Don't you hate it when other drivers ride your...so close?
  21. Why thanks everybody, yes, Furblur grass. It's a very versatile plugin. Thank you Red Ochre. Eli, Setting on the Furblur tree foilage is loops and curves at a medium to high length with about medium to high curl curvature. Work in small area as it can be slow. Thanks again Lynxster. Felt good to make a little picture.
  22. Hi, I was only going to make a pot of flowers but this is what it turned out to be. Thanks for the fun shapes.
