  2. Searose, Thank you for stopping by and commenting. The texture reminds me of knitting.
  3. Seerose, thank you for sharing the view of your window. And congrats for your first place win. Pixey and Mottoman great entries and congrats on your wins. Always nice to have new participants. Always nice to have the old members join in too. Thanks Pixey

  5. Hi Try this new plugin out. Color Replacer. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32423-color-replacer/#entry432582
  6. Thanks for moving this to colors. Played with this a bit yesterday and I think works great. I'll post something soon. The fall leaves are so close in color that I had to make several passes to get a variety of green color, which was expected. Love the ability of color transparency. I'll be playing with that soon. Thanks for creating this plugin.
  7. Here is the video I was thinking of: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/26165-outlined-gradient-filled-text-formerly-very-cool-text/ Here is the comment from the original author:http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/26165-outlined-gradient-filled-text-formerly-very-cool-text/?p=388901 The poster of the video, amitlevy07, cited kaunas163 as the author and all was well. Just thought there could be a problem with posting videos.
  8. Red ochre thank you. I made one with Turbulent Lines that has a similar look, but decided to just post just this one. "Gradients Galore, Don't remember". I made so many different versions of that spiral. I think besides using dither as part of the texture, I used clouds and emboss. I don't how I got the color. Hello Pixey. Thank you. I would love to curl up in it. I have plenty of photos of the flowers in my yard. I've just started to explore what can be done with them. Hey Helen. Thank you. Wish I could just knit it up. My glasses, of course were ruined.I don't know what compelled me to run them through Paint.Net, but it is now a favorite picture. Thank you all for stopping by.
  9. Hi, one of my current favorites. Made with Rainbow Twist Texture, SinWaves and Gossamer. There are a few more news up top also. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27810-doughty-has-a-few-more-pictures-101615/?p=403967
  10. Daughter's cat Ivan and his friend mouse which can be found here:https://www.google.com/search?q=animal+mouse&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMIjsqqjIq9yAIVBM2ACh3Slg7H&biw=1249&bih=970#tbm=isch&q=pet+mouse&imgrc=_
  11. Arrow keys and rotation are mentioned here:http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/KeyboardMouseCommands.html. 404 - Not Found EER - Thank you "-- Is there still a way to use arrow keys + another key to move items 10 pixels at a time? I couldn't find out how with the line/curve tool." FuzzyHuggles - Hold Ctrl + Alt while (Fred) the square handle is showing and move with arrow keys. Was my PDN acting up?
  12. What's old is new again

  13. My photo of snail, Lynxster's leaf shape, The rest - PDN
  14. Great, thanks Max, I believe I'm on the right track. Your example looks high contrast to me.
  15. I hope so, I made a couple with a contrasty image, but now I'm confused after rereading the rules. Thanks Pixey.
  16. An outline of a silhouette? Can that mean a high contrast image?
  17. Very good, guess I needed a small tutorial. I didn't see that I could do it myself. Thank you. I'm going to put my try at this right here.
  18. Hi @Toe_Head=Is it possible to make the corner and edge pieces look like real corner and edge pieces. Also, pieces are beveled at the cut edge from the die cutter. I like the look of the pieces. @Racerx=Found where the pieces go.
  19. Congrats Max for the win. Congrats to Oceana and Pixey for the 2nd place win. :star: Voting was really tight this time, how exciting was that? Thanks Pixey for stepping in to host. Chimay...hope you're OK.
  20. There was a bit of a stink a while back when somebody posted a YouTube video without getting the author's permission. I think it got all sorted out eventually. Who is going to be answering questions about what is being shown in these videos? Very few if any will want to answer questions about somebody else's videos. And I for one love scrounging around in the old tutorials and reading old howto threads. A lurker who joined.
  21. This was interesting and definitely use a large image to start with. Mine was 3888 x 2592. Super easy and I foresee more pixelated images in my future. Thanks Xmario.
  22. This is Sig Battles not SOTW. Racerx has conceded to FotoFactory. Limon is waiting for someone to battle her sig.
  23. Shame on me, are those Shapemaker PDFs help files? Think I need to go back to that program and get reacquainted. Thank you Red ochre.
