    I have the exact same problem. Tried both ctrl+s, ctrl+shift+s, and using file->save/save as. The Paint .NET window stops responding and after 15 sec it shuts down. Tried to uninstall and reinstall (v. 3.5.10) and tried to downgrade to version 3.5.9 Please advice
