  1. Overall it's pretty good except there's something about the chest area that I don't care for, though I guess that's not your fault.
  2. Of the most recent group of 5 pics, I think I like the first and second ones the best. Nice work!
  3. Thanx Helen, I appreciate it. Here are the next pieces: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/OilPainting.png http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/SteedInTheNight.png I don't know what this pic is supposed to say, but I thought they went well together: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/HouseChaplin.png
  4. Not possible. I didn't cut out the sky. I only recolored it. But, I suppose I could cut it out, but then I'd have to go through all that stuff you just pointed out Here's another piece: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/2Flowerbulbs2.png
  5. Umm, the rules state: 11) Don't reply to very old threads. If you notice the last post date, it was nearly 4 years ago. I highly doubt that they're still looking for more replies to this question after all this time. But, thanx for trying.
  6. Here's the adjusted image: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/nighttimestroll2.png For some reason I wasn't able to re-do quite to the same degree as the first. The lighting is off a tad from the original (I didn't write down what settings I used) and there's a little detail lost that I wasn't able to duplicate either (I can see the difference when looking at the lights and comparing it to the first submission). As far as the hieght of the man is concerned, I think you are right. I didn't notice this at first, but now that you've pointed it out, when I compare him to the coach I think he is a little taller than what he should be. At this point though, I'll just make note of it and hopefully be a bit more attentive on future pieces. Thanx
  7. You don't have to start a new topic/thread, just continue posting to this one that you created. In the lower right corner, click on "Add Reply". You'll get a new window to add your next posting.
  8. While I was searching for Aircraft Carrier images I saw one that had a golf course on it, but I didn't want to duplicate it. When I began my search I knew I wanted to do something kind of odd, but I didn't know what. It took me awhile to come up with something different. You are so funny! Thank you both for the comments. EDIT: One more piece to end this evening: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/nighttimestroll.png And the source pics: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/norwichelmhillnight.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/TheRoyalCoronationCarriage-large.png http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/OldManWalkingAlone2.jpg
  9. Latest piece: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/aircraftcarrierpooltable2.png The Original Pieces: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/aircraftcarrier2c.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/Pooltable.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/poolstick.jpg The below used only for the balls and rack: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/poolballs2.jpg
  10. I wasn't trying to be cryptic, it was a matter of wanting to know if it would meet his expectation. If you look at the headboard in mine, it fades out a bit and I wasn't sure if he would find it acceptable. When I replied to his post, he was still online and after waiting about 5 min. for him to respond to my post he left, While he was still online, I clicked on his name and went to his profile about 3 times during that 5 mins and it said he was viewing the thread, but as I say he ended up leaving - and I also went to search for the plugin in the index so I could provide a link for him. At any rate, blurring is what I used, but I used the surface blur. Though now I don't recall the settings that I used.
  11. Would you mind posting a picture of the problem so some of us will better understand what the issue is? Thanx
  12. Stock Images Used: http://www.yellowmap...our-map-949.jpg http://www.scenicusa...P08OldManPD.jpg http://www.freefoto....husetts_web.jpg EDIT: In advance, if someone wishes to comment that the statute represented is from Massachusetts as opposed to being from New Hampshire, it's representation is more to reflect the theme and motto of the sig itself rather than the specific geographic location.
  13. From what I can interpret from your description, it sounds like you've placed the logo and then directly went to print it without having deselected the image/layer. Press Ctrl + D to deselect your item and then try to print it. With the selected area extending out beyond the image, this is probably why you're getting an error.
  14. Cool piece indeed. Yes, you need to do a tute on this!
  15. Any plugin .dll you download goes into the "effects" folder that's in your paint.net folder. There was also this: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/1708-how-to-install-pluginsgeneral-plugin-troubleshooting-thread/
  16. Normally what I do, is download the .zip file, and open (not save) it. From there copy only the .dll files that I want out of the pack to the effects directory. Whoops, sorry Del. I didn't see that you responded already.
  17. Yes, it's called Drop Shadow http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/8375-drop-shadow-and-other-effects-krisvdms-plugin-pack-updated-2010-10-26/
  18. Have a look at this thread and see if this will help you: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/23947-creating-text-at-an-angle/
  19. The picture is from a single image (the background and the jetski). The picture itself is based upon this tutorial for PS: http://www.pinoy7.com/psptutorials/7/thephotowithin/p1.shtml I added the hand holding the picture and broke the central picture down into 2 separate pieces so 1 could be make black and white and the other remain colorized. This is the original image: http://gallery.photo.net/photo/4631378-lg.jpg Here is the image I used to create the hand holding a photo: http://www.psdgraphics.com/file/holding-a-blank-flyer.jpg
  20. Thanx Welsh, I appreciate the comment. Here's another pic that came from a concept in a PS tutorial: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/CantaLibra/Jetskiing2.png
