sorry for giving up but I have tried many things I downloaded Win Installer cleanup form Major geeks I cleaned out my registry of anything that pointed to Paintnet and tried a few other tricks I felt I would rather not do any more than add or fool around and do something that would ruin my computer

sorry that the problem couldn't be resolved ....got so disgusted with it i installed another program... thanks for all the help

doesn't set up in win7 64 bit

This is what I found when searching for the cleanup utility While the Windows Installer Cleanup utility resolved some installation problems, it sometimes damaged other components installed on the computer. Because of this, the tool has been removed from the Microsoft Download Center.

yes I uninstalled thru the uninstaller

Hi I'm new tho this forum so I hope I am putting this in the right place I love Paint net I had it on my C-drive I removed as my C drive was getting too full it and downloaded the program again so I could install it on my Internal D-drive I get a message that says installation failed fatal error (1603) please help as I love the program and miss it thanks sueG
