Hello. I have a question that's been frustrating me for awhile now. I recently saw the Lord of War poster (http://movieposters....Lord-of-War.jpg) and since then I've wanted to create something similar to it. I'm not exactly sure what the style of it is called and searching for tutorials hasn't been a whole lot of help.
The image I want to do this on is a vector. I have a feeling alpha masking is going to be important and I've messed around in pdn for awhile trying to use it, however the results have been...less than spectacular. Can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to even attempt this? I'm not trying to make an image of the exact same quality but something similar would be nice.
