    @odeho19... Thanks for the detailed demonstration, but that's what I had been trying and it didn't work for me. I ended up with the same white background.

    Hey there everyone, Im fairly new to paint.net and I have yet to really learn all of its capabilities. I'm designing a logo to go on a website, but every time I go to change the white background to transparent (I've tried the Magic Wand and deleting, and I've tried using Fill with a transparent color), and save as a PNG, I can still see the white background when I open the image in other programs. I can also see it when I upload it to the website. Would anyone know why this is? Thanks
