Can anyone help with this Thanks Paul

Hi all I am new to Paint.net so sorry if this has been covered in the past, I did search but couldn't find an answer. How do I get Paint.net to see my scanner Its a Canon Lide 80 which works fine via all my other software, Photoshop etc but does not show under Paint.net under the acquire option. I am running Windows 7 32 bit. Thanks for any help with this Paul
