  1. I'm copying some images in from a pdf so I can show the image without the surrounding content. When I paste it into pdn, the transparency is showing up as black making me edit to get the picture as desired. Are there any plugins that can make this not so tedious? (plugins that will handle the alpha channel on the pasted image). Or at least a way to change the default color to white instead of black for when it decodes (or whatever it's actually doing) the alpha channel? edit: After further research, it might be that Adobe Reader DC might be putting it into the clipboard that way. I'll have to try a different tool and see if I get the same results.
  2. I haven't used either of those, but I highly recommend this one.
  3. So if the background (by background I don't mean the background layer, this is all one layer) is completely white, and I've got part of the image selected, is there a way to move just the selected portion while having pdn fill in the background instead of leaving it transparent/empty?
  4. Is there a way to make a rectangle with a specific width / height?
  5. There's no way to get back to the regular paint.net site from the documentation. On the banner at the top, you can hover your cursor over the "paint.net" part of "paint.net documentation" but it takes you back to the documentation. So without manually going back to the site, there's no way through the site's GUI to get there. So it's a small gripe, but it's also easily fixed.
  6. I've read http://eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/doc/2.6/Help/en/RecolorTool.html . But I don't understand it.. Can someone give me a different explanation?
  7. Ok, here's my question. I want to take a selection, see all the colors listed within my selected area, and be able to tweak each color to whatever other color I want. I hope that makes sense, if it doesn't say so and I'll see if I can come up with a different description.
  8. I don't see any options to alter anywhere for paint.net.. Or is it based off of whether or not I have AA enabled for my video card? Nevermind, I thought those icons were just part of your sig when I first saw it. I just noticed them on the bar and when I clicked on it I realized what you meant. Thanks ^_^.
  9. I'm trying to do some pixel art, and whenever I use a tool that isn't just the pencil tool, it makes its own weird shading along my selection. Like, if I make a diagonal line with black, fills in random gray above and below the line between the two points I click. Or if I make a non filled circle, it fills in shading around the edges. All this is with one pixel thickness How do I just make it the color I've picked from the color picker without any extra color interpolations along the way?
