@Welsh,have you tried making it 4 times the size then Gaussian blur it at 4px then resize to 25%. Other than that a very nice image.

Not having access to a PC makes it hard for me to enter but I do have an old one which meets the criteria if that is OK if not no problem just remove it from the comp.

First thing I have made in months
From the upcoming PS4 game Killzone Shadowfall
Render I made myself from this image.

Had a play with it and feel it misses out on not being able to zoom in and out of the image as you are working on it. Yes you can zoom in then activate the plug in but then it's harder to move the cursor to the correct spot even with the fine tuning. For me the line tool is still the way to go especially if the image has a lot of curved edges. Still well done on the plug in and all the rest you have given the community.

Skullbonz - I like the added colour and the skulls on the end makes the metal parts look shinier, well done.
Drew - Also a great entry but too similar to Welsh's

Wow this would of saved me so much time a while back, well done
shame you can't set the points with the mouse on the main image but I suppose that is not possible.Will definitely give this a go tomorrow.

maybe you could paste the image as it is now onto a larger canvas and just use the rectangle selection to select the bottom part and blur it. -

Mottoman I feel your name gets lost on the background (maybe shouldn't of been so big height wise) otherwise a nice clean work.
Welshblue Another fine sig you have there, can't find anything wrong with it and I am a little bit envious of it.

Just after posting I found a fault, the base of the shadow gets cut losing the soft edge

I take it the frame has a transparent background ?
1.Put the frame on the top layer and the picture on the bottom layer
2.On the bottom layer use the blue arrow tool (Move) and hold down the right mouse button to rotate it
3.Still using the blue tool click on one of the corner nubs and while holding down shift and resize it,so that the photo is bigger than the inside of the frame but smaller than the outside (The frame being on top will hide any overlaps )
Posting both images would also help.

How did you come up with this tut ?were you able to see the result in your head and know which plugins to use or did it just come from experimentation ?

Oceana - Like the simplicity of it but afraid pdnnoob beats you on this one.
pdnnoob - Great sig probably just let down by the font and text placement but that is one of the hardest things to get right.

Thanks for your kind words and to Drewdale Ouch! I feel better after reading about your accident.
@WB it happened on the way home at 2.30am so after the initial pain I continued cycling home and was up all night till I walked to the hospital the following morning 11am about a 1hr walk. Was expecting to be home a few hours later but was kept in for surgery

Its more of a hindrance than anything its my right hand and I am right handed and live alone so even the simplest jobs are a pain

Just checking in and letting you guys/girls know that I am still alive ( just ) been meaning to post some of the new stuff I have done (mainly sigs ) but have not got round to it yet are the problems still here that some members had when updating their galleries ?
Also into my second week with a broken hand and dislocated thumb (MTB accident ) so not able to do much of anything at the moment,this is the first time I have had of work in over 10 years and I am already bored
NO gym or biking for at least 8 weeks Glad to see how healthy the comps are getting with some amazing pieces being entered and a few new faces joining in the fun
