  1. ok I restarted the installer and it appears to be working. Maybe I had 2 instances running at once of the installer but it wasn't until I got an error to close existing instances of paint.net that I realized this was the case.
  2. ok. I now have a full copy of windows 7 ultimate. I was installing paint.net 3.5.8 and I got further this time, but now I'm getting an "error opening file for writing: C:\Users\Jon\AppData\Local\Temp\PdnSetup\PaintDotNet.Resources.dll Abort, Retry, Ignore" Any Ideas? I click retry, same thing. I click ignore, and there are other dlls that are getting the same error.
  3. Sorry. I thought when I selected it, it automatically uploaded it. I didn't hit the Attach button. It should be there now.
  4. I'm using tiny7 rev01 by eXperience. (Windows7, but with unnecesary programs removed). I have 15gb hard drive, 1 gb ram, and using 1 out of 2 of the dual 2.2ghz processors.. I've been able to install Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 and some other stuff without problems. I heard about and wanted to try paint.net. But now I am experiencing installation issues. I've never seen an error like this before. I am attaching a screenshot . I tried recommendations on this page: http://forums.getpai...on-of-paintnet/ and with no luck. I attempted both 3.5.6 and 3.5.7 beta. Same error message screen. Another thing I wanted to point out: A 256kb global quota for uploads? a little low for image upload attachments. I think each user could use 2 MB at least. How would one delete previous attachments once their quota gets full?
