  1. Thanks. Both of these suggestions work well. As far as a pyramid is concerned, will autoshapes be something added to this program in the future? Squares, circles and lines are nice tools, but is very basic.
  2. OK, I figured out how to rotate by selecting the 'Move Selected Pixels' tool and right clicking, then rotating. It's not a precise as choosing an exact degree (e.g. 45, 135, etc) but will do for what I need. However, I'm still not sure how to draw a basic three sided pyramid to fill with a solid color? I tried manipulating a square and also tried the freeform tool without success.
  3. Which tool would be used to draw a small pyramid and fill with a solid color? How could I rotate this pyramid 45 degrees? Thanks for any help offered.
  4. I kept looking for a single tool to select and move and/or resize but understand how it works now. Thanks for the help.
  5. I usually use Photoshop and Fireworks, but have gotten sick of paying through the nose. I just installed Paint.net and notice that this program appears to be a great alternative to the above mentioned, but seems to be lacking a few tools. Once I get past the basics, I'll really start enjoying this program. If I draw a square on a new layer, how do I select it to resize it or move it. I have tried to use the 'Move Selection' tool, but it keeps moving the entire layer and doesn't select the square.
