Hey there, i've downloaded Simon's plug in pack, mainly for the animated Gif feature, i've downloaded it all and everything appears but i can't see anything for the animated GIF! Am i missing something? or have i done something wrong in the download? I'm wanting to create some blog banners and want to include an animated GIF image in these. Hope someone can give me a bit of info or steer me in the right direction.

It is a great tutorial but when it mentions after using the gradient bars that you have to play with the "seeding" what is the seeding? as a total newcomer to paintnet it's pretty confusing when you get terms used and you don't know what it's referring too. But it is a great tutorial i have to agree, this is the only bit and the taper that i'm struggling with. Thanks for the reply Ventor happy new year to you.

I've just started working on this and can't get the gradient bars to taper down in the middle, has anyone got any idea how you do that? apologies if it's been covered before but i'm new at this! Also when you get to step 9 my image doesn't look like that with the top half all flames and the bottom half just a solid band! At step 3 it says after running the gradient bars play with the Seed value? what does that mean? I must be missing something. Can anybody give me any tips?

I don't know how i managed it, but i downloaded my plug in's and ended up with two of everything showing in the effects menu. How can i remove the copies from effects and adjustments? When i originally downloaded the plug in's for some reason the Gradient Bars did not show up in the effects menu so i redid it, that's probably how it happened! Oh no! Help me please!

Does anyone know where i can download the plug in's to recreate Pyrochild's great sig, with a different name of course. On the PDF, the one that's the unofficial guide to Paint Net, there's a link but it looks as though it's been removed, as i'm getting an error message coming up. The effects needed are - Gradient Bars Outline object Water Reflection Evanescent Optional plug in's are - Curves + Gradient Mapping Conditional Hue/Saturation It would be great if any of you guys know where to download these from, i got BoltBait's plug in pack but these effects are not on there, at least i don't think so. Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

Managed to get those plug in's downloaded on to PaintNet Sarkut, they are fabulous and add a whole new dimension to what you can do! Thanks for your help. Hope you're having a great christmas.

Hi all, i'm really a total novice at using Paint. Net, but have made some things and have been experimenting a lot. I read about BoltBait's plug in pack and tried to download it, it didn't download properly on to my PC. On the instructions for downloading it gives you a number of steps, when i go to download i don't get those options coming up. All i get is the option to start the download and then i get the little icon on the bottom right of my screen telling me the percentage download. On the instructions it says that you get the screen opening and it asks you the typical; do you want to run this file? i don't get that coming up, just the stuff i told you about earlier. I wanted to use the feather plug in that's in the pack to smooth out the rough edges on some pics that i've cut out etc. If anyone can give me some advice i'd be grateful, basically when you go in to download the pack, boltbait shows you a number of steps to take to do the download and to get the plug in's on to your system but when i hit that button to download, all i get is a small screen coming up with the option to download, i don't get the bit about saving a file or running the program. Hope this makes sense.
