All right Sarkut thanks for all your help. Here's how it solved. I treid the TARDIS method of solving this one...randomly slamming buttons at random. Be frelled (yes Im mixin metaphor's here) if it didn't work. Turns out that in order to get a shot of the other ghosting windows, you have to have something IN the workspace. You cannot get a screen shot of the other windows unless they are in use. Unlike GIMP or Pshop. SO...if someone wants a screen shot of the color wheel or anything else, you have to have a new filled layer in the workspace. Neato. Thanks for the help. Peace out

*growls* Doesnt matter..it's weird,Tools and History windows stay up,all the other palettes disappear. Is there any way to LOCK the palettes??

Nope...did what you said..color pallette layers etc vanish when Gadwin starts. Trying to create a class on how to use..need to have everything showing. Peace and brownies. Jase

How do I get the tool menus to remain visible during a screen shot. I use Gadwin, a nice free proggy, but the color wheel et al disappear the moment I hit the snapshot button. DLLD another screen capper and same thing happend. ANy way to lock the tool palletes when PAINT says cheese??? Peace and brownies
