Thanks! I was doing a drag and drop as opposed to the copy/paste.

I'm pretty new to Paint and forgive me if this question has been answered but is there a way to lock the canvas size so that when new layers are added, particularly when layers with images are added, that the background layer isn't expanded too? For example, I'm trying to create a banner that is 1030 x 90 but when adding and image that is larger than 90 when its added it expands the background too. I'm not looking to resize the image, I just want part of the image to show. Thanks in advance!
