  1. Most of the time I can solve my various problems with programs by Googling but in this case I really can't figure out what's going wrong. I un/reinstalled Microsoft's .NET framework, I've un/reinstalled paint.net itself, I've deleted and reinstalled the Sharpen+ plug-in, and it keeps crashing. This is the error message I get but I can't really make heads or tails of what it means: File: C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects\Sharpen+.dll Effect Name: Sharpen_.EffectPlugin Full error message: PaintDotNet.WorkerThreadException: Worker thread threw an exception ---> System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. the "system access violation" and "protected" part of this made me think that maybe I hadn't given paint.net access to the folder that the plugin was saved in, but none of the other plugins I have are giving me this error, and they're all saved in the same folder. From looking around I see that this error pops up in other programs, but the solutions people come up with seem to be program specific and I'm not near computer savvy enough to poke around and figure it out on my own. Does anyone have any advice? I noticed a few people started getting this error after they updated Mircosoft Net's Framework, would Paint.net still run if I downgrade to an earlier version?
