I don't find any rules on how big an image could be.. any ways. Whats the spoiler for then? I tough you used it when you had big images, so it did'nt slow down slow computers. @shibby96: As far as I know, you need to do this stuff with plug-ins. I don't think you can do this with layer properties.. correct me if I'm wrong. - You can find the drop shadow effect in this plug-in pack

If you want an image glow, you got two option which is already installed with Paint.NET(They are different too each other): - Go to Effects > Photo > Glow or - Double click the layer (or right click and "Layer properties") Then select "Glow" under blending > mode edit: Sorry, I tough you could use the Layer properties glow on a single picture. Anyways, you could use it to make it glow on another image.. Uhm, I'm not very good at explaining, so lets draw!: <<[[NOTE: All images is made by me, and if you use them, please give me credits]]>>
