1. Using the Shapes Tool, draw a square 800*800 on a new layer. 2. Using any of the object alignment plugins, center the square on your canvas. 3. Using the Magic Wand, select the square, then delete the square layer. 4. Switch to your picture layer and press Delete on your keyboard. I see you're new to the forum. No need to apologise for doing your "job". So long as the rules are clear and applied to all, I have no complaints.

I would think that means stock images, stock photos and stock textures. I would also think that one can use self-made photos just like one can use self-made images and self-made textures. Still, you're the competition host, so surely you know better. I deleted my second entry too. I don't want to cause any trouble @Pixey and I apologise for stealing your time away from PDN fun. To my defense, my self-made photo was edited with PDN 😁

Good catch @Pixey, thank you for pointing it out. I posted a new OotF image, all PDN (icons made by me) except for the wallpaper photo which was taken by me. I trust that is allowed.

There are days I could've used ten, but I was content with the previous limit (even though I didn't know what it was). I think that increasing the allowed reactions devalues each upvote. I'm not advocating returning to seven, but I suggest not to make a habit of increasing the limit every time the subject comes up.

Nice, thank you. Perhaps now it's a good idea to inform / remind all of the daily limit members have for upvotes. I think this topic is appropriate to ask: - Is the limit for a total number of reactions or for each of the five separately? - It will also be nice to know how a "day" is calculated. Is it reset daily at midnight Kathmandu time or is it for total reactions in any 24-hour period? - Is it possible to allow two reactions by the same member for the same post? Like when I like a plugin/image/tutorial/reply so much that I want to click "Thanks" and "Like".

I think you're missing the point. Your workflow can be improved and things can me made a lot easier if you use transparent layers. 1. Draw your lines/eye on a transparent layer. 2. Zoom in and select around the object (line or eye) you want to move. You can select the transparent pixels around your object, do not have to be very accurate with your selection. You only need to be accurate if and where your "object" touches other "objects". For more accuracy, use a zoom of 800% or more. 3. CUT your selection and PASTE in a NEW LAYER. The transparent pixels you have cut and pasted into the new layer will not erase any of the lines you want to keep (and that's why you do not need to be very accurate when making the selection). 4. Move your pasted object using the Move tool and place it exactly where you want it. Repeat steps for all lines / objects you want to move.

I understand you don't like using plugins and prefer to have tools built-in the PDN application. Whether one agrees with you or not, this makes sense. I also understand that you prefer to use two other apps to do things rather than use PDN plugins for the same task, because "the plugins have a tendency to add an extra window". Unless the other apps do not run in a new window, this makes no sense to me.

@Rosie J, assuming that you draw your lines on an otherwise transparent layer, before using the Magic Wand, run @Red ochre's Alpha-threshold plugin to get rid of near transparent pixels. (Part of Red ochre plugin pack 10.1). But I would not do it your way. In this situation it is far better to use any of the other selection tools, i.e. rectangle, lasso, eclipse. Given the shapes of the lines in your example, the Lasso selection tool would be my first choice. You can get much cleaner and more precise selections if you avoid the Magic Wand.

I may not have understood correctly, but just in case: The .exe file is the installation file. Only download the .exe file if you have the free version of Paint.NET. Extract the .exe file from the zip you have down loaded to your desktop. Don't copy the .exe file into the Effects folder. Keep the .exe file on your desktop. Double click the .exe file to install the plugins. If you have the store version, download the Zipped DLLs files on the forst post and follow the instructions

It would if you change the blending mode to Overwrite.

I'll just revel in my 28.57% of the vote 😁

Until the Text tool receives the love it certainly deserves, I just want to make sure @HCGS and everyone who happens to stumble upon this, is aware of the Spaced Teact plugin.
