  1. I only just realised what the homepage was- I've always in the past googled a certain tutorial, and then clicked on the link on the top of the page which then takes me back to the main forum page. Recently, though, I've bookmarked the forum page, so I don't have to go to getpaint.net. I've missed some pretty major things...
  2. As a drummer, closed headphones are the only thing I wear! Digital, or Analog? (As in clocks, etc.)
  3. Jeez, I dunno... probably the decision to go down a double black diamond run on the ski slopes because an older brother dared me to. But, I was fine. (a few bruises and a ski-tune-up later)...
  4. Really? I've never had any probs with loading times- of course, the game would take a while to let Crash go up to heaven as an angel or fade into nothing, but that was about the only thing I remember bothering me...
  5. Those are some awesome outcomes. Here's my try (I put in some colour, yay!) And I decided not to stop at walls... original picture:
  6. I don't. This is the one stuck in my head. Actually, I quite like it...
  7. I've never tried InkScape... probably should get it (if it's free)... But really, nothing can beat PdN.
  8. My name that I prefer is Nick. But for some reason, people have always called me 'Nicky'. I don't know why, but it's actually kinda neat- I never have to worry about another boy having the same name as me (cause, to be quite honest, it's not exactly a common boy's name...)
  9. I am definately a PS3 guy. I own as PS1, a PS2 and a PS3 (none of which I've paid for, they've all been given to me). And they have to bring back Crash Bandicoot games! They were the best until the PS3 came. And there haven't been any more... *sits down and sobs at the thought that Crash Bandicoot's life is now over*
  10. I joined the PdN forum! And published My First Tutorial! Yay! (x10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000)
  11. Don't know why, but I decided to put in a cartoon demon I drew a couple of weeks ago into the picture.
  12. Isn't this game from who's line is it anyway? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TmlfZaDvUY
  13. I'm not with you guys, unfortunately. Here are my reasons: 1. Chrome is much faster. It loads almost immediately on my computer, compared to FireFox, which takes almost 5 seconds. Not much, but it has given Chrome a, um, 5 second head start (Bad pun, I know) 2. FireFox has those pop-ups. every 3 seconds, a pop-up comes along, interrupting what you were typing and asking if you want a free $200 top-up on your phone. (for $8.95per week). 3. Chrome has everything you need, and nothing you don't. FireFox, on the other hand, has a whole bunch of stuff, taking up a quarter of the page, just for stuff that's already integrated onto Chrome. 4. Chrome is so much more compatible with Gmail and that's what we use a lot of the time at school. (for organising work and stuff- we're probably the only yr 8 class that uses it, lol). There are my reasons. FireFox is still inferior to Chrome, and always will be. (In my opinion, or at least until the newer versions come out)...
  14. Well, PdN would be quite good for that. For the text problem, you could just put it on a separate layer to everything else, so you can 'edit' it and change if if need be. And, there are endless possibilities (literally) as to what you can do - just look at the tutorials!
  15. I was planning on having the username 'wafflezilla', but when I signed up, I completely forgot about it, and off the top of my head I came up with another one, Dynamite. Well, then I decided that I didn't really like that one, so I randomly created Detonator. And then D3ton4tor. And then, I got it. It's big. It's beasty (i think) It's... D3T0N4T0R.
  16. That's a pretty cool song. (I like the vid, too!) so, 7/10 for me. I just found out about this. The double rainbow song! I won't put the link in here (or embed it) because it has some swearing in it, but rate the song!
  17. That's an awesome outcome. Here's my result (I didn't change the brightness in the second step, I think. Anyway, The pic was for my band's first album, thought it looked quite cool...)
  18. That's cool, although isn't it done straight from a tutorial? (Could be wrong though) 8/10 for the one you want me to rate and 9/10 for your actual signature!
  19. Yeah. I found that the Ink Sketch, even with its thinnest brush, didn't produce as fine a quality as the method shown above. If you want, ninjajoe56, you can even put the two side by side (or look at the two in the tut) and you'll see the difference. I leave two words as I go off this page. Awesome Tutorial.
  20. LOL! Love that one! But then again, how often do you actually use anything in these forums, apart from the photo touch-ups?I know I do most of it for fun... And, to be honest, I actually prefer the first outcome, Ash. btw, how did the photographer get the photo?
  21. Cool! But it really is a shame how the first one was lost...
  22. That's cool. I'll use that for my next school project- I usually do animations.
  23. That. Is. AWESOME! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for a while- thanks for the tut! My Result: (Click for the big version) EDIT: Doesn't seem to be showing up. Didn't even realise that I'd attempted this. Soooooo, Here's my (slightly more recent) one:
  24. H.I.V.E.- Dreadnought. It isn't exactly a well-known book, but it's the only one I can remember reading it cover-to-cover in one sitting. *Still In the process of creating a signature*
  25. Hmmmmmm, not sure I love it, but it has a nice electro rhythm. 6.5/10. My song! (I like something that's really fun to drum to and sounds awesome. Kevin Rudolf- Let It Rock!!! (Feat. Lil' Wayne) *Still in the process of creating a signature*
