  1. I want to change a DDS texture in a game. The problem is that everytime I save , after modification, the DDS file has a shade of pink, it's like a shadow and is annoying because small objects that i transform tend to look different because at that level even a pixel counts, it distort the form of an object in the texture. I made even this test: I copied a DDS texture , without changing anything and then saved it in its DDS format. The new texture isn't the same as its origin !!! How can I save correctly the DDS or is it something wrong with the Paint.net itself ? It drives me nuts this anormality...
  2. Hmmmm interesting effect. What do you mean "the right brush" ? How do you adjust the "speed" of a plugin effect?
  3. I don't wanna be annoying but I can't see how that plug- in helps me for my purpose. I need something like that spray tool/plugin from Windows paint and not just...another brush.
  4. it doesn't look different from the "stock" tool. What is the difference and where are the brushes? It looks like an empty frame .Maybe I don't get it...
  5. Thanks , I'll give it a try and come back with results.
  6. I am currently working on a military aircraft skin for a game and...I don't know how to alter shades of the same color to make the dirty effect look like. I tried with magic wand + gradient but I cannot get the realistic effect I look for and the true shift of shades in a way that don't look funny and exagerrated if you know what I mean. Any help would be appreciated. The old paint from Windows had a tool which I noticed paintnet doesn't, a color spray.I would've done the job there , but paint lack of color shades (have just fixed ones)
