    Ok...I finally cropped this photo, still trying to use the clone tool...GEEZE ! I envy you guys that can use this program with such ease....

    Yes, rectangular selection is formed, selection mode is set to replace and still nothing. Under Image....crop to selection is not highlighted at all. I will keep reading and working to try and sort things out.. Your help is so very much appreciated !!!!!!

    I'm new to this site and to paint net...None of my selection tools work, can't crop, clone.....could someone please tell me what I'm not doing ? Thank you ! Monica
