That creates pretty much what I am going for, the only thing is I need to fill a specific area with that patterns, not just create it.

That is close, but it would need to be more than two colors. I am going for something like this:

I am still new to paint.net and I was wondering the best way to create a digital camouflage pattern for use in a game (besides the obvious exceedingly time intensive method of pixel by pixel). Is there a way to fill an area with a pre-determined pattern in paint.net or a plug-in you know of to help me out with this? Thanks in advance for the help.
