I do have 3.5.5, and I somehow strangely got my effects back. I cleared the effects folder and made sure there was only one effect folder then uninstalled and reinstalled the program. When I reinstalled, the effect directory was still empty but I had all the standard effects still. So I redownloaded a few effects, put them in the effects folder, and they seem to work fine now. So I've got a strange problem. I had a bunch of plugins installed and they all worked fine. Most were pyrochild's. Anyway, I went to install the Align Object plugin and I just extracted everything to the effect folder. It didn't work, so I deleted everything I could remember that it put it in there. After that, I didn't have any effects. I also had the Gradient mapping thing in adjustments and Curves+ and such and those are gone, too. All of the original DLLs are still in there, but no effects are working. Help please!
