  1. Hi all! I'm an RN and making my health care website with topical pain remedies for back pain and arthritis. I struck on an original idea for my Home Page. It says "You'll think a fairy brought you here!" Then I leave some of my fairies I've collected about in corners, but especially to mark a highly suggested product. So I have "A fairy graces each product we highly recommend". I've already changed the background on many of these to match my pages, but if you want to use them and change it again, who cares? So, hope you like my fairies and can use them!
  2. Hello everyone! I'm dearly hoping someone can help me make my background for my website. I absolutely have my heart set on a yellow green small brick pattern I found. I've been able to maintain the aspects of it up to 800x400 and can't go any further. I want all my pages to have a length of 1600. I can't figure out how to "repeat", connect or whatever to reach 1600 without distorting it. I've already painstakingly used it for layered and made backgrounds for some of my prized images getting ready for it. Now I want to make the background and I can't find a way! My website designer stretches and distorts the bricks terribly bad. I have both Paint.net and Irfanview (which is tempermental). I'll get whatever software you suggest might do it for me! I've attached the 800x400 piece to this post if you want to see it. Thanks for any kind of help! Pennie77
  3. I got your reply to my quest for help with the Eraser Tool. You asked for the Tutorial Link I'm using. This is it: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/EraserTool.html It clearly explains how to use the tool, but does not tell how to finalize the deletion of the areas. I'm trying VERY HARD to delete the surrounding white background from a clip art blue diamond for my logo on a jewelry website. I need deep purple to show through. The white square looks aweful. I did go to your link and read it. I have no clue about "turning the top layer to "black and white". Plus, do I make the lower layer all deep purple like I want? I'm so sorry - I'm SO VERY new at this, it's really causing me problems! I'll accept any help I can get! Thanks! Pennie
  4. Hello all! I was SO PROUD of myself for learning the Adjustement - Curves action and was able to get an absolutley great color! BUT - I've read the tutorial 3 times about the Eraser Tool and I've erased my heart out and nothing happens. It says it works best for layers, so I made my image a top layer - still no effect! I've no doubt missed something very obvious that I just simply don't get! I'm a complete NEWBIE! Please help me! Thanks! Pennie
