This is my first time to this site as I only just downloaded Paint.net. I don't believe this is a Newbie Tutorial for the following reasons... You haven't explained HOW TO make a glow; change blending modes, pick primary and secondary colours, fade vertical or merge and duplicate. I got lost at Step 2 and couldn't go any further. Shame - I actually liked this effect
