  1. OS: Windows 7 Paint.NET: 3.5.2 Repro: 1. Open a JPG file. (somefile.jpg for example) 2. Modify the image (not required, but part of actual work flow) 3. Select File > Save as... 4. Click the existing file in the Save as dialog. (click 'somefile.jpg') Note: The "File name" field should now show 'somefile.jpg' as the name to use. 5. Change the "Save as type" drop-down to PNG. Note: The "File name" field should now show 'somefile.png' as the name to use. 6. Click "Save". Result: Windows warns that 'somefile.jpg' already exists and asks if you want to replace it. It seems Paint.NET is still trying to use 'somefile.jpg' as the file name, despite what the "File name" field shows. Expected: Paint.NET should use the 'somefile.png' file name shown in the "File name" field. john.h.sheppard at gmail.com if you have further questions about this bug. Thanks!
