Bryan in MD

I just downloaded paint.net. I went through the installation protocol. However, I cannot find the program to use paint.net. It isn't in my program list, and there is no icon on my desktop. (My system is running XP service pack 3, with an Intel pentium 2.86 ghz processor. I have 512 mb of ram. Can anyone help?
