  1. Just downloaded it, thanks. Jove, are you saying that you want the huge white space around the painting to stay and be the right size? If you are, just hit Click + Shift + R and enter 1920 as the width and 1440 as the height under the Pixel size. Below where you enter those numbers it should say Print size with another 2 boxes that show width and height in inches.
  2. Just read the rules of the competition... I changed the border to my entry after I submitted it, did that break rule 4? I'm assuming we can't vote for our own sig?
  3. Canvas size doesn't move any pixels, it's pretty much a centered cropping tool. If the painting isn't directly in the middle- Use the box selection tool, while holding down shift to select a perfect square. Use the move selection tool (looks like a white mouse pointer) if the selection isn't perfectly aligned. When you think you've selected the right area hit Ctrl + Shift + X to crop to the selection.
  4. I'm thinking this version looks better than the old one. Can I get an opinion?
  5. I'm hoping you aren't done with it yet, atleast match the shadow up with the pawn. What do you mean? Look where the edge of the shadow is coming from the pawn, it's not the same size.

  7. You've got talent/determination, either one works. Very nice.
  8. Hidden Content: Looks suspiciously like this- Hidden Content:  Looks very nice, and it's really hard to tell that those trees aren't from a picture. I definitely wouldn't mind getting that as a Christmas Card. You make your snowmen weird though, mine are usually 3 giant snowballs stacked up. :?
  9. Zieon's Gallery I don't really believe in using stocks or textures that I didn't make, so you probably won't see much of either. Abstract Art Hidden Content: I can't really remember why I made this one... I have an idea, but I'm not sure. This was made for a Power-point background quite a while ago. I made as a background to a music player I made in C#. Can't remember when or why this was made. Desktop Art Hidden Content: This was my first attempt at a planet-scape that just so happened to be the same size as my desktop. (Click for DeviantArt link) This was my entry for the WOTW #10 "Speed." Everything was done from scratch and there is a tutorial on how to make a bullet in the Tutorials - Creations sub-forum. (Click for DeviantArt link) My attempt at a stained glass window. Made from scratch in ~3 hours with Paint.NET, I may enter this for the WOTW: Stone if it is acceptable. (Click for DeviantArt link) Image Modification/Manipulation None. Interfaces Hidden Content: Loading screen animation I created using Paint.NET, titled "Sigil." This one is absolutely huge, this was a T-shirt design our class was going to print and sell at a Cross-Country meet. I did use a stock for this one, but I drew everything except the Cavalier. Pixel Images Nope. Realistic Images Hidden Content: Well actually it's a [WIP] since I can't figure out what to put on the wall... Alright, I had planned something else entirely for this, but this'll do. Signatures, Avatars, Logos & Text Hidden Content: Grayscale Competition with border. Now without a border. Sigil, my signature for various websites. My current avatar. Oldest signature, from when I first downloaded Paint.NET.
  10. (Boredom x 1.5hours) + 1PDN = Now I need to decide what I'll put on the wall...
  11. In my opinion, the bottom left corner of Hellgate shouldn't have the green showing, maybe if it were blue or yellow. The top middle seems a bit too busy compared to the rest of the image, but it looks nice and doesn't need to be changed. [7/10] The Iron Man sig is perfect. Making it clearer that the light is coming from his hands (is it?) would be nice, but I really like how it looks now. Also, if there is light from behind as well, you ought to cut off his head and move it up a layer. That way you can have some light spill over his shoulders but remain behind his head. [8/10] (Don't take the ratings wrong, I doubt I've ever given a [10/10] for a sig) Switched my SOTW entry to this- I just didn't think the border on the older one fit well with the rest of it.
  12. Right now it's really hard to tell what is in the background, if a bit more of his head was showing it would make a huge difference. I really like the concept though.
  13. I don't really like grayscale images, but I'll enter anyway.
  14. I drew solid black blobs with the brush tool, used the dents effect, selected the blobs, and then beveled the selection. They're overlayed 125% on a layer just above the blank sphere and under about 10 cloud detail layers. Tobias, your picture was deleted.
  15. Epic. My first attempt at a planet-scape. (Click for full-size view)
