Here are my simple steps after unsuccessfully follow the Pleasantville Effect tutorial. I could not get the magic wand to select everything on the image except the squirrel. 1. Use Lasso to draw a line around the squirrel then copy and paste to new layer 2. Adjust black and white on the background layer and merge the two layers together.

My friend using Lightroom to edit this image to remove all the colors except for the yellow of the squirrel. I have been trying to duplicate in PDN but haven't succeed yet. I've used Conditional Hue/Saturation plugin to adjust the color but there are still some yellow on the ground I want to remove but it doesn't. Below is the edited photo from my friend and the original.
