  1. Thank you for the response. After posting I ran across the post for making the car photo fade to black-and-white. So I read that and found out about the transparent gradient. Thanks. Michael
  2. I have a banner that has a background image with several layers of text overlay. When I put the banner in my application it centers and looks great...except the right side forms an extremely hard line where the image ends and the white background begins. I installed the latest Feather download but I just do not see any visual change in the image. (I even flipped in the outline window between initial and post feather images quickly and there is no difference) So my question is how to feather the left edge of the image so that it fades to white and does not have that hard edge to it. Point me to a tutorial is preferred so I can learn the steps for accomplishing this. Thanks for help.
  3. OK...here is a screenshot. The second layer is the text. The text is: Data Centers The nub is the only thing visible.
  4. I have built a new layer. Made a giant eraser and made the entire layer invisible. Added an image and made it's background transparent. Now I want to add text. I can add text and position the text, but I cannot see the text. I set the forecolor to black and that has not helped. My intent is to make a permanent transparent layer with the company logo / name. Then when I make a new image I can add that layer on top of the first layer for my application banners.
