I have the vingette plug-in, however, I don't like the black... and I'd like to do a more even job around rectangular photos. Does anyone remember the old duplicate layer way... I can no long find the tut, but I really liked the results from that method. BTW, thanks for all the responses!

I'd like to make the edges of a photo fade. There used to be a tutorial on here for this a couple versions back that involved layers and gradients, but I can't find the tut or the plug-in (it showed up under effects and allowed you to change the alpha from 100 to 0). Any help on how to do this or where to find plug-ins/ tutorials would be helpful. This is what I was able to do with gradient blur....
