well i used the repair utility, but i have zero plugins anymore...did i do this from the serive pak2 thing, or because i separated .dll's from everything else. I would do a recover, but now my C drive is corrupted and wow, what a waste of time and energy. Maybe there's another utility that would enable paint.net to communicate with the plugin files again? I mean i have well over a hundred files/.dll's just sitting there. Im still not sure whats going on with the c drive, but i did an R9 restart, and it seems fine...

I downloaded the plug-in manager which requires service pack 2 xp, im running win7 64 bit which should have allowed me to use service pack 2 but of course not, so instead i turned off framework 3.5 (that worked before using a dff. app). But still didnt work, i gave up and manually separated all my files/.dlls into their proper folder cuz I was missing lots of plugins. I have turned framework 3.5 back on, but Paint.net still will not open with a message saying"Paint.net has stopped working, we are looking for the problem", then disappears off the screen. Now what? Did I mess this up by placing files in the files folder and .dll in effects folder...didnt touch anything else. I had drop shadow, but i had to restore my new Laptop, so i reinstalled Paint.net and downloaded your pack, but i cant find drop shadow anywhere in my effects. its definately in my effects folder in Paint.net so where is it. Under which effect should it be found exactly? I tried reinstalling but it's saying it's already there. Help, i use this all the time....

Now i'd like to find a way to lightly add the "swirly" color like on the bubble to add to other images if that's at all possible. I looked for some kind of plug-in and what i already have installed, but cant find anything that would give me that effect. any ideas? im attaching the images.

OK, yeah, that makes sense. I have a handful of plug ins that couldnt dl correctly from the Mega file dl with like hundreds of plugs. So as soon as im finished trying to get Betty Boop finished Im gonna switch concepts completely and work on the "drop" theme. I have these silver icons, i used in an Avatar theme, and i really want to use them again and thought about using them with that wallpaper you so perfectly edited for me. But...im sorta thinking maybe not. Silver and water i suppose could work together since they're both shiny and light in color. Here i uploaded a couple...what do you think, can they work together ok?

It's running Win 7, 64bit, with 6 GB of Ram, so i hope it's not my computer...It's strange, maybe i'll uninstall the Dll.'s that came with that package, and re-install by itself. Power stretch would work if it didnt keep shutting down Paint.net. I can get it to do what i want on the "p", but as soon as i move over to the "m", it just says error, and shuts down. bloody potato. Maybe i'll try Gimp.

Ok, so i want the "palm" to look like its part of the drop, so it needs to curve. hope this gives you the idea.

I cant use the "text" action and write the word, I have a transparent layer of the word so the font remains the same. otherwise if i had to type it i'd have to find the correct font and it's not available.

I have it in my plugins according to my Program files, but i cant find it on Paint.net. What is it supposed to be under? It is a transparent layer on top of the layer i want to morph it into. It's only four letters, so all i really want is the first and last letter to become taller and wider, ya know?

for the life of me i cant find a way to wrap text around an orb. I need to use layer to place the text over a raindrop, the letters are transparent and looks ok, but i'd like the word to wrap with the drop. I know there's got to be an effect for that , and i have the mega effects package, but cant find what i need. thanks for any help.

Color filter works great, i downloaded Megalopack, and well, I pretty much have everything i can use and more....thank you! It's so great to finally have this ability since it has prevented me from doin lots.

Im not following you, i need to make three layers to get this effect? Where is the white layer, my image? So what happens after the icon is the color I want, do I have to cut the image out after? If so this will not work. Thank You !!! :wink:

I have Vandermotten effects plugin, duotone on gets you so far because the color is pale. Which other plugin would work the best in your opinion.?

I have transparent icons and i want to add color to the images. How do i do that without having to use the magic wand which makes the edges blunt instead of gradient. I want the color to take to the images as they are. Is there a way to do that, cuz i have been in this situations several times and cant seem to figure it out. Thanks so much! The Arrow image is the icon, and the other is another image that's similar in what I'd like to learn to do, color it, but keep it's gradient outline. I also have an example of what i'd like to do, someone else did the red.

I can only have the image, it has to be in the shape that i cut it to be, it doesnt matter that the grid lines disappear, i need the whole thing to disappear and only have exactly what i cut out of the picture. ya know what i mean, it's not transparent, it's actually showing as a white square behind a circular image.

So, maybe it's a dumb question, but i finally cropped this jagged image, and i have removed what i don't want, but now i'm left with a white grid which i can't seem to get rid of. Even after i save the image, the grid stays with it. This is a round image within a square image, i want to take the image out of the square grid. Anyone who could help, i greatly appreciate it.
