  1. Hi there. I've been using Paint.net for some time. Recently, when working with my husband to develop some images for a project for his job, I've run into something I've never quite seen before. We do run two separate computers with Paint.net installed on both - his copy is updated, mine is not. When attempting to save this image as a .jpeg (it's saved here as a .gif), I got a preview screen that showed. . . Nothing. The "approximate size" of the image stayed at 23kbs, no matter where the quality slider was set to. Trying to save the image anyways resulted in a completely empty file. I'd blame it on the update, but I've saved countless images as .jpegs while using my version of Paint.net, and never before encountered this problem (it started occuring on my version). I did have a few wonky things go on when flattening the image, could that have something to do with it? He's trying to use it on his PlayStation 3 - the .gif will do, but I'm worried about the quality of the image, and the PS3 will definitely not read .pdn files (more's the pity, since that's the format the file appears best in). Is it a problem of user error, is the file just too big, or is there something more going on here? Any and all help will be deeply appreciated.
