even if you can't do it YET, if you try a lot, you find some new technics, and trics and all, so you can better yourself and your work
Also, looking at other works (try to see how they have done it) will also help a lot in your prgress

wow Helen, i feel honored that you think that way... It is just my 2nd 100%PDN Painting and I still feel that I have lots and lots to learn (especially how it can be done quicker)

I am really slow working on this one, I feel sad about that. But at the other side, my bf and I found a new appartment and we're moving in right now... well actually, when it's finished. Painting the walls are done, and we hope to move in next weekend

thanks all, I know I am not very active on the whole forum, since I'm busy and its amazing weather, so i appreceate it a lot that you like to stop by here
I had some time to continue my image yesterday so i post the update on the first page. The hair of the lil boy is by photomanip and using: artistic-oil painting and then smudged it to give it a better painted look. Today I hope to finish the girls face and hair

thank you!!! can you believe that this one 'just' took me 2 hours?? mostly it takes me 4 to 5 hours for one pic...
anyway, I am busy with one from sketch, so no second life pictures in it, it is still in progress, but you can see it on page 1

the new water looks sooo much better than the first one you did! now some fish and bubbles and you have a cool background!!
-
thanks Helen and BBQ.
I made a new image. I mostly used the smudge tool, I tried smudge last year, but I guess I wasn't ready for it back then...
Compared to my work in 2009 and the beginning of 2010, I have grown a lot (in my opinion)
ohw I found the background image here
