  1. Thanks! I literally just made this spacescape. Hidden Content: I personally love the stars but the planet is... bland to me.
  2. A Bit About Me Hey! Before I get into the actual gallery, I thought I'd share a bit about myself. I'm a 12 year old male level 6 non-competitive (For now!) gymnast. I'm home schooled and in the 7th grade, with 9th grade math and literature. I like cars and almost every sport. I live in Alabama, USA. I came across Paint.NET while searching for free alternatives for PhotoShop. I've been using Paint.NET for probably a month now, on and off. So, I'm making a gallery to help graph my progress. So, without further-a-do, welcome to... Signatures Hidden Content: This is what I really love to make. This is the reason I found PDN, really. I'm not very good at this yet, though. These are in order of being made. One of my very first signatures. First attempt at a 'Glossy' signature. Not much to say about this one. Something I made from another piece of art I made ealier. First decent looking sig. If only I didn't have to only add text to a stock image. XD Ah finally, out of the crappy ones. <3 Sharp. Made using a tutorial on here. One of my best, first time I got to use brushes in a sig! RAINBOW! Random render, random C4D's, random signature. Holy bloody potato, I like this sig more and more! Who needs C4D's when you have brushes?! I was bored, so I made this. Meh, first try at a spacey sig. Made using a new tutorial on here: Just made for some fun, came out pretty good I think. Lot's of brushes! Wallpapers Hidden Content: I still love sharp. Banners Hidden Content: Space Hidden Content: Abstracts Hidden Content: I've been away for a while due to personal matters. My mom almost died from her blood pressure bottoming out, 60 over 31. But she's ok now, thank God!! Anyways, I'm back with an update! Enjoy!!!
  3. Hey Sharp, did I ever mention that I love you? First try: AxeSlinger is my name on another forum, by the way. EDIT: Also made a wallpaper. Hidden Content:
  4. Yes, just use rectangle/lasso select and drag it across to where you want to modify. Then run the effect, and only the portian selected will have been changed.
  5. Hey, I've tried to download this plug in multiple times. For some reason, I have like 2 'effects' sub folders, but I've extracted the .dll for the mini brushes to all of them. But for some reason they won't show up. It's like it never downloaded. =\ Hope you can help me, this looks like this plug in would help me loads for my signature making.
  6. Won't really work. See that dudes hair? That's be hell to trace around, lol.
  7. Hey, So I've tried, more than once, to download the custom brushes mini plugin... For some reason, when I go to program files > paint.net, if I double clikc the effects folder, theres another 'effects' folder that is next. Then that repeats. Basically I have 3 effects folders some how. I don't know if this is related or not. Anyways, I've downloaded it to all 3 of those folders, and I can't seem to find it. :? I'm also using Paint.net V3 I think? It's whatever version came out before the newest one (3.5 I think)
  8. Hmm, I'm not quite sure what your asking. If you mean, how to make a plain background tansparent, then that's easy. Just use the magic wand tool, set the tolerance to anything under 50 and click on the background. Or, you could select the whole image, and edit > cut it. Also, if you using layers, if the layer you transperatized is under another non-trnasparent layer, then you won't be able to see the change anyway. EDIT: Just re-read your question. I think you mean you have a render, basically, with a black background? Magic wand > tolerance under 20 or so > click on the background > done.
  9. http://images.ocregister.com/newsimages ... bd1_lg.jpg And make it where it's only the dude with the guitar and no backround or anything. Basically, how do I turn this picture into a render of that guy?
  10. Help. I see the thing at the top where I can download the zipped pack of plugins, but where can I download the pyrochild.common thing? EDIT: Nevermind! I'm dumb. XD Epic plugins, pyro.
  11. Made from scratch, doesn't have a name yet: I like it.
  12. This is a sweet tutorial! However, I got to the part where you were supposed to flip it horizontally, I did it, but it flipped both layers, so nothing really happened. I couldn't figure out how to make just one layer flip, so I took what I had and put some other effects on there... Personally I love it.
  13. This is a great tut! I have to say the outcome is pretty amazing. @konvict: Go to Adjustments > Curves > RGB And then just mess around with the curves.
  14. Awesome! I downloaded a few just now, and it worked perfectly. Thanks guys!
  15. Hey, I'm new to Paint.NET and I see a bunch of cool plugins around here. I've downloaded a few that are already in the .dll form, but most come in the .zip form. I have no clue how to unzip these... I really wish I did, there's some epic looking stuff out there! Anyways, the question is how do I unzip the plugins and download them succesfuly?
  16. Thanks! Started using paint.NET 2 days ago. If I'm posting this I might as well post another pic. Was too lazy to tranparitize, but I really like this one. I guess I'll start experimenting with different effects now.
  17. Made another one of the same style. I like this a lot better.
  18. First time I've ever done anything with Paint.Net.
