Hello again, 1. Is the newest CBM backward compatiable to 3.36? PDN, thought I would get updated plugin pack(if not please tell me and ignore #2) 2. You will need to give more info as to your Opp sys, PDN ver #, and pehaps a screen shot so the good folks here can help you,,,hehe I know from experience,,,I too am having problems,,and they know about some of them. Simon, Sorry to have to post here again but I think that the Custom Brushes still has a glitch or two,(three?) #1. The undo is a little buggy, the first brush stroke(and first stroke after changing brushes) can not be un-done with out reset, but then you lose all work. #2. You have to guess at how big your brush size is as there is no indicator on the canvas. (and because of #1 it can be problematic) I realize with all the different brushes you can use or make that would be almost be impossable to do. If you can fix #1, #2 will not be an issue. #3.The color change still has a few issues, it works without crashing but just weird acting. Even though the color box showes the color of the "main" color wheel, it still paints black until you open and close the color popout. Have a good day ! :wink: Kart

just a dumb noobe deal, "my" work looks a bit different on my crt vs my laptop,, most of your post look too bright on my crt(and the contrast is also high) my LT screen is way diff. thats why if veiwing on flat screen monitors do you look straight away from the screen or just looking at it,,just guessing, there is a diff. I try to do all my work on a crt as even "my" veiw angle changes how the overall photo/render looks to me. Walk around your screen before uploading,, just a note,, it may not apply to all and I hope this makes some sense

No it dosen't seem any different to me. I pulled the "old" dll out and put in your attachment but had what seemed the same outcome,,,crash Fiddle with other controls is OK, just don't try to change colors.= crash) Does this seem to be a problem that just is random to us, or others having prob,but not sharing ? Will offer new crash log if you will tell me how to attach it,fourm won't allow me to attach a .log or a .txt file. Will just copy and paste if you need/want if that is OK. Thanks, Kart

Yea I have the same Prob. Seems to work OK till I want to change colors. Also if the "main" color wheel is other than black it still paint s in black. (See screen shot) Thanks, Kart Don't know how to do it any other way so I just copy & paste the crash log :oops: The plug-in works until I try to change colors. Zoom and changing brushes seem to work OK now (Had probs. till I put brushes in right Folder) Notice that in the cmb screen that the color is not "black" yet paints black. Any attempt to change colors and cmb chashes pdn. I can open the cmb color wheel and "pick" a diff color but when I close the that pop out it crashes. Well made a few small changes on Ver. 2, 1. Blue tips are a layer, added redish shadow at 175 opac, reduced layer opac. to 150. 2. Main flames are layer, added shadow twice- 1st dk red, 2nd bluish w/less radius(2) opac @ 173, layer oapc @ 175. 3.Motor is background layer, softened 2 white spots that stood out, opac @ full. I like the effect , this was just a quick redo after I dl'd the shadow plug-in. I am going to redraw the flames tonight and see what happens. I'm sure I can get it looking better. Here is something else I have been trying, I want to have the flames take the shape of the exaust pipes but with out the pipes. This is lines drawn in shape of pipes, render clouds, then dents. Just another little project about 1/2 hr total. A couple of lines here and there,,,little polar inversion here and here ,,, a splash of motion blur,,,mirror there and there,,, and wa-la. More to come, Kart (dang,, thought I had clipped dumb lines in far corners. ack :oops: )

Thanks oma I think I am going to show more of my use of plugins (that is what I want folks to coment on) rather than "my work" per say, as this a "clean place". :wink: I have no prob with that, but some of my stuff may offend others.
