I have used Paint.net for years without issue. This evening I clicked on the icon and got the message: Paint.net setup front end has stopped working. I have tried uninstalling, the program has been removed, downloading and running the new .exe and I get the same message half way thru the new install. I am running Windows 7. I have read thru many discussions on the forum and tried several suggestions but nothing has worked.

I was told by a printer to convert my paint.net image, I send a jpg to them, to an Adobe RGB1998. Is this possible or anything like it? thanks.

It is a .pdn file from paint.net.

Hi- I did a search on this topic and found someone got help. My computer shut down in the middle of a save of a file and now I can see the thumbnail but when I try to open I get a message that the file is corrupt. Can anyone help? thanks.

I produced a brochure with paint.net, 300 dpi, and saved it in pdf. I just got a note back from the printer that the file needs to be CMYK with an 1/8" bleed. Is this possible with paint.net? Thanks for any help.
