well in gimp (and also photoshop) u have this cutter and u just move the mouse around what u want to cut. now when u arent 100% on the edge which u want to cut, the programm knows that and will still cut that place. e.g. for a very long edge u can quickly move the mouse over it and the programm will cut this edge.. or if u follow smth else it always knows how to cut that. Hard to descripe in english anyone got an answer for the resizing stuff? thanks

hello guys, i dont like gimp´s layout.. also it safes from every image a thumbnail which i dont like. i got 2gb of pics and from every of them a thumbnail.. this are the main reasons i want to switch to paint.net. but two questions / problems: http://beasty.wippiespace.com/stuff/paint.jpg http://beasty.wippiespace.com/stuff/gimp.jpg orig. image if someone wants to try it out: http://beasty.wippiespace.com/stuff/abarth.jpg gimp´s quality is much better at resizing (made that pic bigger).. did i set smth wrong in paint or is it just like that? also: i found the magic wand but it selects everything automatically.. can i somehow follow the edges myself? like when i gut that girl on the image.. i want to cut it my own but have the programm follow her edges automatically? hope u know what i mean thanks guys
