I'm thinking of getting a HP Touchsmart soon, and I was wondering if it would be able to run Paint.NET?

I've tried to open it, but it keeps trying to open with Paint.NET which it can't do, and I don't know what program I'm suppose to open it with. (What is 7-zip, and is it safe to download?) Edit: 7-zip didn't help either. ^^;

Sorry to ask, and I know there's a topic on this, but it still didn't help with unzipping files. (I don't know what to unzip it with.) ^^;

Can this method be used to make lineart?

It's not working for me. I keep getting fatal error message whenever it almost finishes downloading. Can anyone help?

I tried downloading the advanced tools from here. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=29452 I even followed the download instructions, but I still can't seem to use the tools. (All I get is a window, showing the advanced tools, but I can't click on anything in that window.) Can someone help me please.?
