  1. @Peter Sure, I also had problem with it at the beginning. Heres how you do it: 1.Copy the AnimGIF.dll (CRTL+C) 2.Browse to the Paint.NET/File Types/ folder. 3.Paste it here! Its imporant not to paste it into the Effect folder, thats what I did wrong. @LibbyH: Sure Here ya go (no blur though... If you really want it, I can add it)
  2. Thanks for the tip, youre right: I curious about your try!
  3. Of course I want to see THAT guy who can draw this smoke! Edit: I did it once again
  4. Woohoo, I did it! Just found out how to use the Animated Image 1.7 plugin by Simon Brown (awesome plugin)... So I wanted to create a nice GIF with cool coloures, and heres my try at it, by the way the first picture that I'm really satisfied with...: What do you think of it? More important, what can I improve?
  5. *I was stupid, like always. No more need for this post*
  6. What the...? I thought I already had 1.7, when I started it, it said "Another version is available. Do you want to download it?" And I clicked OK, so I thought Custom Brushes Mini updated itself. How embarrassing I'm sorry. Nevertheless, I have another question: Is it possible to delete brushes from my list? And how to add categories? BTW, here are some bugs I found in the new version: Undo sometiems does no work, nothing is deleted. Also, when you manually edit the size of the brush and press enter, Custom Brushes Mini closes and the work up so far is printed on the picture. That quite annoying because if you change the size, the first brush you do is in the last size and the second and following brushes aere bigger/smaller.

If you cant understand any important part, I'll translate it for you. By the way, Im using Vista and starting Paint.NET didnt help. Another question: How to delete added brushes from the list?
  8. Colour bug fixed? Not for me, when I pick a colour Paint.NET crashes in 90% of all cases
  9. Really, does it do for you? Im not sure if we mean the same thing, as I have the german localisation of Paint.NET, do you mean the last tool, this odd shape right to the ellipse tool? How can you add point that are connected? For me I have to hold my mouse left button while drawing!?
  10. Thanks for the tip, but that does not really help me By drawing lines, you also have to click and hold while moving your mouse. Isnt there a simple way to just click at two points on the picture and they are connected with a line or a "picking field"? That shouldnt be too hard to code, should it? Could anyone do me the favor? It would not only help me, it would make things much easier for many people!
  11. Hey, I dont really know how to correctly express it, but let me try: When I want to pick an object out of a background which is very similar to my object, the magic wand does not work, it always picks the complete picture (I tried playing with the %). So theres no other way of picking the object than to draw a line with the Lasso tool around it, which I find very hard and inaccurate. And if my hand shakes once, I have to start from the beginning. So I wondered if there is a plugin or someone could create one where you just click multiple times and the dots are connected with each other, so you can just click around the edges of difficult objects. Sorry if my english is bad, its not my native language and I dont know any words from the graphics editing jargon in english.
  12. Hey, today I came across this signature: I know there are PlugIns for Paint.NET that outline an object and create Splatters on a picture, BUT: 1.The Line around an object that is created with that plugin is not anti-aliased. Curves are edges, and it just looks horrible. Is there a better solution for this? 2.The Splatter plugin creates really unrealistic splatters. The ones on that signature look someone just threw a bottle filled with black colour on it, and how can I create this in Paint.NET?
  13. Hey all, I am really new to graphics editing, especially to Paint.NET! I've already made some simple pictures, but there are some simple things I cant seem to redo. Here are the two pictures I'm talking about: 1.) http://i578.photobucket.com/albums/ss22 ... ckkool.png How to do the background and the exposion effect of the text? 2.) http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/1163/68243759.png How to create the splashs in the lower right corner? Thanks in advance, and sorry if I broke any rules. If so, please tell what I did wrong
