Newbie question.
Gosh, all the posts seems so advanced. Maybe I'm showing my ignorance by
asking my question.
Oh well here it is: The file is a gif. I need it to be a png file. What I have done is brought the file over to Paint.Net open it up and chose the select tool.I put the tolance glider to 25 and identify the white blackground I then hit cut. I now have a transperent background. I save using save as key with PaintNe and put it in my selected file. However when I go to use it the bacgrond is now replaced with white. What am I dong wrong?
