I've got windows xp SP2 and I don't want to update so I was wondering if I can still get the older version Paint.NET as I have it on my other computer and I love it. Help?

I have had it say before "Keep canvas size"

Say I had a small space when making images how would I paste a image in without changing size?

How can you have multicolour gradients? eg:
