  1. Awww, I'd still give Nemo 8/10. After all, she had the inspiration to put the thing together. I really like it. My sig is inspired by Piet Mondrian & the only thing I didn't create was the font. Ratings welcome.
  2. I agree with Kemaru - dark blue for the spacescape. It gives me the impression of peace & tranquility (no noise) & comforts the soul. It makes a nice piece to look at without anything else in it. A very nice work - in progress or not. Good on you! @ Sharp - I'm still gonna try your tute. Will post my attempt when done.
  3. Yep, that'd be a handy thing. Hope also that someone can come up with a solution. Glad you asked the question.
  4. Thank you, Sharp. Yes, I've worked through a lot of tutes to get the hang of PdN. I am so grateful to those like you that take the time to write them. Your jellyfish is very cool indeed. I also like the minimalism wallpaper for its shapes & muted colours. I want to try your spacescape tute next. I did something similar with noise but wasn't 100% happy with the result.
  5. Thanks, Nemo & AFG. It took me a while to figure it all out...& then waiting for the download quota too. Nemo, your new sig & av are so pretty. I love it! Reminds me of knights & maidens & of course my most favourite - dragons.

  7. Paint.NET is easier to use than any other program I have tried. I have 2 others loaded on my pc but have never worked out how to use them, even working thru the tutes! There is a resource portal that you may find useful: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26941 & I found this site really good for the plugins: http://I have a virus on my system!/Links/ Hope this helps...

  13. Yep, I have a similar problem. I have V3.36 on XP & installed Simon Brown's plugins. Specifically I have tried the tute: Curved or circular text with animation. (3D Rotating text and objects by yellowman) I do not have the option of saving as a .apng file but I have .agif. When I try to view the animation after saving with the "a" removed as per tute instructions, I get a black rectangle. Opening it with Mozilla gives the same sad result. All other plugins seem to work fine... I'd appreciate any help. Many thanks in advance.... barbieq25
