I'm having a problem with the clone stamp tool. I read all the related posts on the forums and the help file and can't figure out how to fix it.
I click on an area while holding down ctrl and I see the anchor circle. Then, when I go to try to use the second circle now around the cursor, no cloned image appears and sometimes, the anchor circle follows the paint circle around. All I am doing is left clicking somewhere to paint on the cloned image. I've tried a single click, dragging while holding down the mouse button, and double clicking out of desperation to get it to work, but no matter what I do, the photo remains unchanged. :? What am I doing wrong? I'm using paint.net version 3.36.... on a window xp.
