    I received the same error messages the original poster received so I tried the fix that worked for him/her. I tried reinstalling .NET 3.5 and then tried to use the program. It didn't work but I knew it was a longshot. So, I then tried to do the uninstall of the Paint.NET and then received the same messages as before the 3.5 install. Is there another way to remove the Paint.Net without corrupting OS files?

    I'm having the same problem but .NET 3.5 isn't working for me. The program won't work nor will it uninstall.
