  6. Thanks , i drew out a basic person sketch on paper, then created line shapes based around prominant features like around the nose and eyes. Then recreated it in pdn, i scanned it in for the nosee though..i got lazy  New piece: latest mini work, can you guess what i have based this for? i am really pleased with it but i think it could do with some feathering. As usual, more info on p1  'Little Alice'
  7. Partial font but the colouration and a few alterations all done in pdn yup. My gallery has the name of the font, i cant remember off the top of my head
  8. agreed, even without the text imo, lovely colours that makie it ideal for a BG
  9. I like the neon shoes, stand out quite nicely
  10. Magic wand is definately the fastest to use. Change the tolerance too, this will help it select more (or fewer) pixels. Once deleted the majority except, in some cases a thin white line you should feather it. i suggest downloading this. Probably one of the most helpful plugins i have ever used
  11. heh thanks YY, sigs as you know arnt my sort of thing. glad you like it..hopefully there should be one, possibly 2 nice updates later today though

  16. to get that oily effect can be a tad tricky. If i get the time ill pm you a mini way i would do it if you would like. Lord knows im sure there are easier ways though..i go around the houses all the time edit: forgot to mention, possum may be able to give yuo some great tips. Recently done some lovely sleek oily style abstracts in the pictoruim/gallery

Thankyou , glad to know im not the only one who thought it wasa unusual way of creating it @nanettealsop: Thanks, no tut's yet though i am currently working on one..progress is somewhat slow at the moment though edit: my SOTW entry. Yes im not good at sigs so bare with me  ..though i quite like it
  19. 1) use any pixel select method, most likely to be best would be magic wand ( ) or perhaps lasoo ( :LassoTool: ) to select the head/area you want. 2) cut it out, go into a new canvas with your other image, add a layer, paste the head you cut out earlier - move/edit as you wish 3) Delete the head of the main image so you dont have any remnants of it 4) may want to feather the head too so it doesnt look all jagged.
