  2. Hey Dark i LOVE your sigs, they are awesome . I am shocking at making them (get it? poor joke ik but oh well im tired ). Great work on all your stuff and your newest picture, looks nice but i think you should add something in the forground or something. Great work
  3. Yup, but i like all of it too haha. & thanks
  4. Thanks HELEN , ive been doing seperate layers for shadow sections, but i just realised i was going to need some more for the middle of my rose, hopefully it'l be finished later today but then i got Welsh's idea in my head of adding some leaves . EDIT: Rose is done
  5. no problem, look forward to seeing some more work
  6. @ALL: Aww thanks guys, you all make me . I'm going to have to keep working on this rose then make it bigger for Oma  & HELEN, of course i give you credit, you gave me the idea and i couldn't go stealing it without letting people know the evil genious behind them . As for leaves well i never even thought of that, thanks welsh . Once ive done with the rose i think ill give them a bash and post to see what you think, mind you im not very good with leaves usually..going to take some practice. But thats what i love, trial and error, we all 'gotta learn .

Thanks , yeh ill get on making it larger, i find working on detailed pieces is best to work on small parts at a time. Ill post it up soon . EDIT: Its up on my gallery and i have made it nice and big for you Oh and the whole "however evil you may think you are, oma is worse" , you are SOO not getting a gun
  8. poor cyclopse but i vaguely remember the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea one. Nice new glass blocks

I agree, 103 views and hardly no posts on my gallery ..even on the newer stuff. But anyway, it looks great but you know the pettles, perhaps add a hint of blur (on duplicate layer) whilst on colour burn to certain parts (basically do what you just said but a little blur to get rid of the raw feel). Otherwise i think they look amazing . I am working on a rose and i think the technique you use for your pettles seems real similar, good style  And as for the horse thats really coming along , i am only good at circle base drawing on a pad, cant do it for the life of me on PDN haha.

Youv'e gone and done it again Oma . Brilliant work
  11. No problem, glad to help . If you get stuck again and would like a picture example just pm me/post here
  12. Thats prety strange, are you sure you are trying to DL the latest version and from this source, not just a random place 'cause it may have something missing in the overall dl.
  13. thats simple enough, simply use the selection tool again and click the empty canvas. Press delete and the white/grey checkered pattern is your transparent parts. For instance if you save your picture as a .png you won't have anything where they were. If you would like a image of an example i can quickly do one for you..
  14. Haha thanks, yeh i did . A mini explanation is in my gallery, pop on by i would love to know your opinion 'cause what good is work if noone likes it? . Oh and i like your new sig i am prety poor at making them but i am going to give one a try soon
  15. Heres what you should do (as far as i can understand your question): 1) get your base image 2) add a layer and paste in the 'signature picture' :AddNewLayer: 3) if it is too large simply use the corners to resize the image 4) to give it a nice effect you may want to double click the layer to open up layer properties then alter the transparency of it, this will make it appear slightly faded so it does not distract someone from the main image 5) If you have not already done so, move the picture using the move selected pixels tool 6) finally, simply merge down the layer (aka flattening the image) using the  and save it. Hope i helped
  16. no problem, just remember if your following a tut and get stuck who better to help than the person who wrote it .
  17. You should really post this in the tutorial so the author could of helped you but by mark the text they mean select it, aka use the magic wand and then click a letter then do the bevel.
  18. Hahah , he is the main bad guy called Siler in a very popular programme called Heroes, google "Siler" and it may give you some ideas
  19. nice work, i like your signatures most
  20. siler . I like it but you need something to finish off the focal point it could do with something in the top right looking/moving towards south west. I assume you are keeping the Heroes theme? if so perhaps a faint Peter (as he was his main enemy) or as that version of siler seems to be when he went through a 'good stage' you might want to add the evil siler with the black eyes etc?..or who knows, maybe just one of his abilities..i don't know just throwing some ideas around to help .
  21. Welcome to the forums . I like your avatar, you have great potential for free hand work. Perhaps use the gradiant tool etc to give some more tones into it, that should make it stand out more
  22. You got some insane talent HELEN !. Your work has inspired a few of my pieces (not yet got all my work uploaded to my gallery). I really like your roses, they look so realistic . I'm currently working on one myself and if you could give me a tip (see my gallery to see its progress) that would be great . @Darkshock: they are really nice :o, i like love their glossyness..after all who doesn't love shiny things?!
  23. Thanks Gamer , i love to go for something different that stands out hehe. I'm still trying to find the un-flattened pdn file of the grass so i can make a tutorial/give some people 'grassy tips' but i think i may have accidently saved over it once flattened . On a up note here are two parts of the rose i am working on..the reason they are small etc is because i find realistic work is always best to segment. Sorry if you think it is too small but i hope you can see the picture coming together..i have added a black background so i can see it easier, i think i may delete this when complete, i'm not sure yet EDIT: See first post for complete rose!
  24. Yup 100% PDN thanks, ill try find my file before i flattened it and upload for people but i think i only saved the flattened file . And thanks but like i say in my gallery, its surprising what a dark background can do for highlights, have a play around. @Leif: There awesome
  25. Ideas needed for new picture for my birthday on the 19th asap please
