thanks HELEN, i started off with a light blue circle and played with power strech and a few other effects etc. Then did a couple of steps from Ash's gem tutorial, added a dash of "i wander what happens if i do this?" and hey presto .

i like your current sig and nice use of mazes in the first one

play about with the tolerance % of the wand, literally just 1% can mean it wont work how you want sometimes

i didnt know what they were so googled it. woah they are freaky lol

Thanks Soka , yeah i think that title fits nicely, lol it originally was going to by a gemstone style thing to encrust into a piece i am working on, somehow i think i went wrong somewhere but in a good way

hi, uhm without seeing it i would say use the magic wand tool , changing the tolerance as needed. This makes it easy for you to select parts of a picture. Next up to recolour there are loads of methods..for block colour you could just use the paint bucket tool :PaintBucketTool: , or for a bit of a better look you may want to use a gradiant tool . Or a even easier way is to use colour tint plugin (found in the plugin section of the forums), once selected your area just tint it the colour you want :wink:) ~Nemo

update: i was playing around with some effects trying to get the right look for a piece i will be worknig on soon when i made this..i think it looks really cool, reminds me of a sonagram with the baby on the picture, little bit like x rays i think ill call it "the unborn" Oh and my excuse for the funky legs? the fetus is in early develelopment

Under plugin section there is a Alias plugin. If you use thie with the feather plugin it should get your desired results. Ill try and get you the link, in the mean time just look in the plugin section

very good for your first week of pdn, i love the leaves but you should use 'feather', this will get rid of those nasty little edges. Also, you cant really see your name, maybe make ait bolder or different style? Welcome to teh forums
