Don't think I can post a screen shot, but when I was looking into it, there was another folder under paint.net called paint.net.3.36, and it says it was an application, so I opened it and ran it, and after it was done, (it said it removed previous versions) there was a folder for effects. Sorry 'bout that. THanks for posting so quick though. Thanks again.

Everything tells me to put certain plug ins in certain folders such as effects, etc........ however, when I go to my C: then to my Program Files, then to Paint.net, I don't have any folders listed, just more dlls, and such. what am I supposed to do now????? Please help me. Very new to this all, using this over buying PS or PSE.
