  1. This request is already in the Popular Feature Request thread.
  2. Do you want the pictures to be moving or still? If the former, Paint.NET may not be the best tool to use.
  3. You could try tracing your signature with the Line/Curve tool ( ).
  4. The Circle Text plugin should be what you're looking for.
  5. You install the file 'BlendModesPlus.dll' like any other plugin. Just place it in C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\Effects. BlendMode Organizer is just a samll program I wrote that you can use to organizer how the blend modes are arranged in the plugin and can also be used to hide/show them. It isn't required to use the plugin, it's just there if you want to use it.
  6. Lance, I believe this forum doesn't have announcements. Just pinned and unpinned posts...
  7. To start off, I would suggest using the Line/Curve tool ( ) to trace the lines in your image. Then use the Paint Bucket ( ) to fill in the eyes and anything else you want to fill in. That may be all you need, but if not it will at least get you started.
  8. Wouldn't that be similar to Photoshop's Liquefy plugin?
  9. Also, if you don't want to install any plugins, you can use Rotate/Zoom to tile your image. To get to Rotate/Zoom go to Layers --> Rotate/Zoom or press Ctrl + Shift + Z. Then check the tiling checkbox and zoom out with the zoom slider. Hope this helps.
  10. Hopefully this helps: 1.) Create a new image the size that you want your finished product to be. 2.) Go to Layers --> Import From File and import all the images you want to use. 3.) Use the Move Selected Pixels tool () to move and resize your images. 4.) Save and enjoy.
  11. Also, if you want a plugin for it: Extract Color
  12. I'll see what I can do. Right now Blendmodes Plus handles transparency by averaging the transparency of the the two layers you're blending. In other photo editing programs such as Photoshop, each blend mode handles transparency differently, so I'll see if I can match BlendModes Plus' transparency handling to something similar to Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET.
  13. I think you're over thinking this just a bit. Try this: 1) Open a new image and set the background color to something other than white. 2) Set your primary color to white and change the alpha value to something relatively low (less than 127 should be good). 3) Use the Ellipse tool with the 'Draw Filled Shape' option selected to draw the ellipses. 4) Overlap the ellipses as desired. Hope this helps.
  14. If you're going to do that may I suggest using That Other App to quickly switch between the two programs.
  15. Although there is no built in way to use a square brush, you can make a square brushes and then use CustomBrushesMini to draw with it.
  16. Also, you can select the and rotate it by right-clicking using the Move Selected Pixels tool ().
  17. It shouldn't touch the blue at all unless they are really similar in color. But if thats the case you can just lower the tolerance until you have the right amount of selection. As for the selection mode, start out with replace and then use add or subtract to add or subtract from the selection. To get a white background I suggest adding a white layer under your original image and then flattening when you are done.
  18. I sounds like you want to use the Magic Wand tool (). Just click on the black writing and you should get most of it selected and then just hit delete. You may also want to trying adjusting the tolerance so that more or less of the black is selected.
  19. Also,if you can select it with any of the selection tools, you can rotate it by right-clicking with the Move Selected Pixels () tool.
  20. Unfortunately, you can't change it. It not too hard to do, all you need to hit is Ctrl + N.
  21. I think you may have just hidden the Layers window. Just press F7 or go to Window --> Layers. Edit: Beaten.
  22. If you don't mind me asking, a tutorial about what exactly?
